I received an extremely late and significantly low appraisal from Ron Hopper Appraisals. that delayed and negatively affected the lending process.
I have been charged high or $678 for the rush request for my house appraisal, paid on December 13th and they sent it to the lender on Jan 4th (This was their Rush).
I called their Agent “Adr...” Six times and texted her 4 times with Zero response till I complained to her office then she woke up and made ridicules low estimate. May be because I complained about her!!.
The appraised value was significantly low or roughly 30% lower than the actual market value, as introduced by my listing broker!!
Can’t imagine that some people gave them 5 stars rating or maybe they are friends.

I was having issues with my broker setting up a rushed appraisal that he needed and was telling me I needed to ask for an extension on my conditional offer. In this particular case an extension was not an option, so after being put into tears thinking everything was going to fall apart, I called Heather at Ron Hopper and she was very willing to help. She said she would see what she could do and called me back in less than 5 mins to book the same day appear. I received a negative appraisal from Ron Hopper Appraisals that prevented me from getting a mortgage through their partner, The Mortgage Centre - Sunshine Financial. My home was close to foreclosure so my daughter and I were days away from being homeless.
