CCR has completed three projects for us and we couldn’t be happier with both the process and the results. The first project in 2015 was an open concept main floor kitchen and living space renovation, which had truly stunning results.

The second project in 2020 was a complete lower level renovation. From the moment Peder met with us and we all began to imagine and plan the lower level of our dreams, we felt like CCR truly cared about us. They paid attention to not only functionality and quality, but also to small details that reflected our family’s tastes and needs. The site manager was incredibly good at keeping us informed and up to date. All trades involved were skilled, professional, and friendly. With two small children and three curious cats around during the renovation, they made sure that our family’s comfort and safety was of utmost importance. The end result significantly exceeded our expectations and in fact won the 2021 Canadian Home Builders Association Awards of Housing Excellence for best lower level remodel.

The next project in 2023 was a garage renovation, where slatwall was installed throughout. They were fast, efficient, and friendly. The result is a highly functional garage that is now incredibly organized and pleasant to be in.

Other than the incredible skill, reliability, and craftsmanship, I think the best thing about CCR is the pleasant, cooperative, and friendly atmosphere they create. We truly enjoyed interacting with the workers who were onsite and also the CCR admin team behind the scenes; we consider them all friends. You will not regret working with CCR for any of your renovation needs.

CCR had been so highly recommended to us by a neighbor that we were not surprised when the company’s owner and employees handled an extensive renovation to our century-old home in Old North with expertise and integrity. They paid close attention to our wish list and created designs that coordinated harmoniously with the existing features of the house. The impressively skilled carpenters, plumbers, and electricians were familiar with both traditional and modern building techniques, so that they were able to ingeniously solve some quirky challenges typical of those presented by older homes—leveling an uneven floor, installing a weight-bearing beam to replace one that had been removed in error by a former homeowner, precisely crafting a door frame so that it fit perfectly next to a slanted ceiling. With a flexible, friendly, “can do” attitude, the site and project managers regularly kept us informed about the progress of our project and responded promptly to any of our questions. CCR worked wonders: our previously dim, dank basement is now a bright, open space as appealing as a main-level living room; we have two new gleaming bathrooms with lots of cleverly integrated storage; the kitchen countertops, tiling, and cabinets were brilliantly designed to be both beautiful and practical--there are three “chefs” in the family, and we can all cook in our remodeled kitchen at once!

A terrific project from planning through completion. This main bathroom and general renovation is our second project with CCR and both were fabulous in terms of planning, design, construction, along with great communication throughout. We are very very pleased with the functionality and aesthetic of our new bathroom, bedroom and walk in closet. We would highly recommend CCR! It is a pleasure to work with and have them complete projects for us - an amazing result which we are truly happy to experience!

We had the best experience working with CCR on our addition to our century home. I’ve had experiences with many trades over the years and while all of them were all excellent, CCR really stood out amongst the rest with their professionalism and craftsmanship. I’ve attached photos of both the finished addition, as well as WIP photos showing how CCR made sure the original house was well protected while renovations were still ongoing. You can also see how clean the workspaces were even during the renovations. Their trades were all very nice and respectful, and John, our site manager was so helpful and checked in daily during this months long process.

They were also very accommodating and understanding to our needs to ensure our kids and pets were safe during the construction. There was a locked door installed between the existing house and the worksite for our children and cats’ safety and we really appreciate their dedication to delivering outstanding products and services while putting everyone’s safety first.

Dozens of contractors are available in the London area. However, if you want the best for your build or remodel, you must use CCR. Arne Madsen, the owner, is a terrific person with a keen eye for design and detail. He has attracted a skilled group of employees and hires reliable sub trades. Their work is first rate plus and has been recognized with dozens of awards. CCR will do your job start-to-finish, from getting the building permit to completing final touches to your satisfaction.

We hired CCR to remove our old deck and build a new one. Because we have a walkout, the deck is 9 feet above the patio. The old deck was not covered. CCR extended the existing roof over the new deck. It is impossible to distinguish where the new roof connects to the existing roof, as it is a perfect piece of workmanship. The ceiling finish on the deck is stylish as is the finish of the underside of the deck and the underside of the stairs both of which are finished with the same material as the existing soffit and fascia. Our neighbor, who has expertise in construction, informally followed the work and inspected the finished deck. He commented on the high quality of construction and attractiveness of the new deck. We are extremely pleased with the work done by CCR and are enjoying our new deck!

CCR remodeled our bathroom to make it completely accessible for our needs. From start to finish the process was seamless and they really listened to our needs. Everyone who worked on the bathroom was friendly and we were kept aware of where they were at at all times. We are thrilled with the finished product. We will definitely use CCR for future renovations.

We've just completed a kitchen renovation with CCR. The entire process was so well organized from the initial planning stage through to completion. The site manager and office staff were extremely responsive and they, as well as all the sub-trades who worked on the project were knowledgeable, competent and always professional.

My wife and I engaged CCR to renovate our then house a number of years ago. They did such a great job and were so professional and delightful to work with that when we moved into a new house we called them again for another renovation. It was COVID unfortunately and they were extremely busy but we waited for them (a year and a half) - we didn't want anyone else. That's how much we liked them and trusted them. The latest project is now complete. Once again they were wonderful to work with and did just an amazing job. They use a system of designing, planning, and budgeting that is online, so we can see everything clearly and are able to discuss details with them very efficiently. Inevitably, as the project got underway, problems were discovered due to work done by previous owners' and changes had to be made. CCR were so great in the way they brought these to our attention and offered various solutions. We ended up fixing old problems at additional cost, but this was totally our decision and we are so happy that they worked with us to solve the problems rather than just going ahead and papering them over just to save time. Every single person we worked with at CCR was professional and a delight to work with. Their workmanship and attention to detail was exceptional. We recommend them without reservation. We would not use anybody else in the future!
