We purchased our Northlander Park Model home in 2021, receiving it a little over 1 year later in July 2022. While we are very happy with the overall craftsmanship of our home we have been let down with the products they have installed. Specially the HVAC system. Shortly after the first year, our entire furnace needed to be replaced, we were fortunate enough to still be under warranty and replacement was an easy process. We are now three years into our purchase and our A/C unit is now no longer working and needs to be completely replaced. Unfortunately, the warranty on these products are only two years and we are stuck buying an entirely new unit (as we have learned fixing these units is not an option). When we called Northlander to discuss options for service and they had nothing to offer. How can a manufacturer install a product and not offer support to back these products? On top of the HVAC we have also had to replace our electric fireplace because it stopped working. Our buyer beware should be to look into other options for heating and cooling your home instead of buying what Northlander provides

We purchased our home from Northlander and I cannot say a negative thing about them. If and when we had any issues, they responded quickly and rectified the issue in a very satisfactory time line. We highly recommend doing business with them. 👍

We purchased our Northlander trailer after considerable research both from the quality of the build and the servicing of our park model after purchase. We have been very pleased with the quality of our Atlanta all season park model. Equally important has been the post purchase servicing of our home. Our dealer Westcoast Leisure has been very responsive to our needs and warranty work by Northlander has been excellent. Recently we brought forward an HVAC issue and contacted Steve, the Northlander service manager, who responded promptly and demonstrated a real desire to assist us. A technician was sent to evaluate our situation. Jeremy was an excellent ambassador for Northlander who explained the technological aspect of our issue and indicated he would be speaking with Steve to assist with a resolution. We received a call from Steve within the hour and advised that the supplier had been contacted and our issue was resolved. Jeremy completed the work the following day and we were so impressed with how we were treated and how quickly Steve responded to our concerns. A great example of excellent customer service.

I cant speak for the product they make but as a driver delivering here, they are fast and friendly. I'm sure their product is as good as their work ethic and professionalism. Note anybody delivering product from Elkhart, the dock you back into you'll need to lock your diffs to pull out. (Especially in winter)

My husband and I had a modular home custom built by Northlander. The home was placed on location in June 2015. The fridge died 3 years later (June 2018), the hot water heater died in 2018 (December) and our dishwasher just died today (March 2021). I would have thought that Northlander installed NEW appliances in their modular homes, but that simply cannot be true based on our experience. We paid over $4,000.00 for 5 (brand new) appliances. Of note also is that our master bedroom, adjoining bathroom and laundry room are all FREEZING in the winter and I have to wonder if there is any insulation in the outside walls for those rooms. Too late to check once the house is on site without tearing the walls apart!!! There were other issues too (some taken care of, others we just didn't want to push as we were exhausted with the problems). Now, we're just waiting for the rest to fail. We are completely disappointed with the integrity level of Northlander Homes...if you are considering purchasing a modular home from this company, do NOT let them place their appliances in your homes...purchase your own. And investigate/report FULLY any and all concerns you have, to Northlander, before the warranty on the house is up. We would never buy one again.

We're new to trailer homes so we popped into the office for help. Although our trailer is not a Northlander these people went above and beyond to help us with our problem. I would definitely buy a Northlander product knowing they are generous with their time to help anyone. Thank-you for everything you did to help us yesterday.

Well built unit BUT Northlander has a design issue. The smoke alarm is placed to code construction is to code. But with the short hallway from kitchen to bedroom it causes a dead air space.This makes the smoke alarm go off even with stove fan on several Windows open making it impossible to cook unless you place a fan in hallway. Northlander saying OH WELL everything is in codé. No Answer to problem. Left to our own ideas. Poor customer service. No Answer to our problem
