I recently had my drywall ceiling fixed by James and his crew, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish, and the quality of their work was excellent. In 2024 James and his team did a very good job on our basement walls after a sump pump installation. No one wanted to take this job because it was hard (can't use screws) and had some parts under the staircase. I found him on the internet, completed hopeless, but he accepted the job and did it with a fair price.
Jason and his team are very oriented to the details and cleanness. I'm a returning client as he did other jobs for us after this one.
I definitely recommend this company.

I found this demo and reno an unusually pleasant experience thanks to James and his very nice assistants. I loathe most things about most companies (plumbers repairs construction etc.) and handy men who come into your home as most don’t listen and do not respect your property and my experience is they basically lie about prices and time frames and have made my life miserable many times. As for James and Lord of the Board he couldn’t have been nicer nor more honest and trustworthy. Talk it out make it clear what you want and then you can relax! They won’t leave you hanging and you won’t get swindled. They are real people not phonies. Very reasonable pricing- it’s a deal . I like a deal and gentlemanly behaviour and a sense of humour goes a long way too- they’ll get you through it! He bent over backwards to get all the things done I needed fixed. I can’t believe such a mess I was in before the drywall could all turn out well and be so pleasant.

Loved their work. Price seemed reasonable. They added in a lot of extra patching which definitely would have delayed my reno if I had to do it.
James is cheerful guy to deal with and all of the employees were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

I saw the Lord of the Board truck in our neighbourhood, and made a mental note as a potential contractor. Eventually, I needed to call someone to fix the ceiling in our dining room from a leak, and to finish a wall we had built in our basement. I wasn't sure if they would be interested in a small job, but the next day James showed up, gave us a price, and was friendly and courteous in all we discussed. They started the job the following week. The initial team came in, checked all the work we did, prepared the walls, and fixed the hole in the ceiling. They even repaired little cracks and dinged corners as part of the job. The mudding was done so well, there was very little sanding required. Any sanding that was done was sucked up by a special vacuum with HEPA filters. We were painting our walls within 3 hours after they left. All this to say, we had a great experience. James was attentive to the entire job, and followed up each day. And the price - very fair. Well worth every penny.
