It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Taylor and all if his crew. We had a very large project in mind and the team turned our ideas into a backyard oasis. We couldn't be happier with the professionalism, quality of work, attention to detail and communication. I highly recommend this family owned business for all of your construction needs. The work done was removal of our existing back deck, addition of a 3 season room, upper deck, lower deck, wheelchair ramp, front steps and stone work on the front of our home.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I hired Great 8 Construction to build a backyard deck, and unfortunately, the result was far below expectations. The deck was constructed with a noticeable and uneven slope—not the slight grade needed for drainage, but a visible tilt that makes furniture feel unstable and is uncomfortable to walk on. The wood they used is all cracked and moving.

I brought this issue to the team’s attention shortly after completion, but the response was dismissive. I was told it was "within normal limits," even though guests have commented on how awkward the angle feels.

A deck should be a place to relax, not something that feels structurally off. I expected professional craftsmanship and attention to detail, especially for the price I paid. Sadly, this was not delivered. We even asked to pay more money to have it fixed and was told NO. Terrible!

We are very happy with our project. The team replaced the existing deck boards on our large 3 tier deck with composite which is probably a little more challenging than starting a new deck from scratch. A great team of very hard workers led by Taylor (not the boss). Nothing was too much trouble.
