La relation avait bien commencé avec l'installation d'une lampe suspendue par un technicien compétent. Suite à cette première expérience positive, j’ai de nouveau fait appel à leurs services pour l’installation d’une autre lampe suspendue dans ma cuisine. Malgré l'excellent service de Derrick, un technicien junior est venu sur place et semblait ne pas savoir comment procéder, prenant 4 heures pour réaliser l'installation. Ils ont finalement envoyé un deuxième technicien, qui a immédiatement identifié et corrigé l'erreur.

Après avoir discuté calmement de la situation avec Derrick et proposé de payer un montant correspondant à la valeur réelle du travail, il a refusé toute négociation. Je déconseille fortement de faire affaire avec cette entreprise, qui facture des honoraires disproportionnés et ne tient pas compte des insatisfactions de ses clients.

Bonjour, Voila 2 ans, j'ai eu à réaliser un projet de taille dans la cour arrière de la maison. Ce projet a nécessité beaucoup de travaux electriques pour lesquels j'ai engagé Electric Eel. Ces travaux étaient à l'extérieur ainsi qu'à l'intérieur: du câblage, de l'éclairage, connexions aux tableaux, programmation des automates, etc. le tout a été réalisé par la compagnie Electric Eel. A travers cette expérience j'ai eu à interagir avec Johnny et Jean François. Johnny était le chef du projet et a dû intervenir à plusieurs reprises pour coordonner avec les autres intervenants. Il était calme, connaisseur et surtout accommodant pendant les périodes difficiles. J'ai été très satisfait durant mes interactions avec Johnny. Jean François était le technicien affecté pour réaliser la majorité des travaux sur site. Je n'ai que des éloges à faire à JF: Connaisseur, organisé, méthodique, poli, etc. Honnêtement, je n'aurais pas espéré avoir mieux que JF pour travailler chez nous. Mon expérience avec Electric Eel a été très positive. Je n'hésiterai pas à les engager encore pour n'importe quels travaux électriques que j'aurais à faire dans le futur.

Hello, 2 years ago I had a relatively large project to do in the backyard at home. The project needed quite a bit of electrical work which I contracted Electric Eel for. The work done was outdoors and indoors: cabling, lighting, connections to panels, setting up programmable controllers, etc. All was achieved by Electric Eel. I mostly dealt with Johnny and Jean Francois. Johnny was responsible for managing the project and intervening whenever there was a need to solve problems in coordination with other contractors. He was calm, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I was very happy during my interactions with Johnny. Jean Francois was the technician assigned to do the actual work on site. I have nothing but kudos for JF: Very knowledgeable, organized, methodical, polite etc. Honestly you cannot ask for a better person to do work at your home. Overall, my experience with Electric Eel has been very positive. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any electrical work that comes my way.

Once again Electrique Eel, came through for me. Called in the afternoon and very early the next morning, the service man was at my door. He was respectful of my property, showed me the damaged breaker and before leaving, made sure all was working. Derek even messaged me later on in the day, to make sure all was OK. I have been using them for over 20+ years, and god willing I will be using them for another 20+ years. Great work guys.

I got Electric Eel contact from Union Lightning store salesperson who should stop recommending Electric Eel to avoid damaging their own reputation.

All started well. I called Electric Eel and spoke with their electrician Derrick. He sounded knowledgeable, estimated the work, asked me to call him back when I got the fixture, and promised to do the job shortly after. Problems started four days later when I called to schedule the work. The phone answered another man who was rude, told me that Derrick is very busy and will eventually call me back. Same thing repeated the next day. I tried to reach Derrick a few more times and left a couple of messages to never hear back. One day the phone answered a lady who was nice, said she would patch me to Derrick and stopped shortly saying he is busy, and then took a message that was never returned.

If you are desperate, willing to take a risk of hit-or-miss type of experience, and pay double price - call Electric Eel. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and spend five minutes to search for another electrician in the area, which I did and found a highly rated one who gave me an estimate for half the amount of what Electric Eel asked for.

The contact person Derrick was very professional and friendly — always replied promptly to all my emails and answered all my questions. The electrician who was assigned to me, Tony, was also very nice. He troubleshooted my baseboard first to see if it could be salvaged before opening the new one I bought. Turns out it could, and I saved a bunch of money by returning the new one. I’d definitely recommend them as they are professional, honest, and prompt.

Mike came in and under 2 hours fixed my downstairs bathroom fan, my upstairs bathroom light replaced and installed a new hard to get to ceiling fan and light! He was awesome!

Just called to ask about potential wiring + breaker change that i might need to replace an old AC unit, and although Electric Eel have a full workload, they were very helpful to explain what needs to be done (and what doesn't) for my situation and also referred me to another electrician that could help me!

I highly recommend them for residential work or commercial work. I have been using them for the last 15 years and have seen others that don’t compare in the least.
