Metro Property Management took care of my rental property in St. John's for nearly two years while I was living in Ontario. If you want someone to collect your rent and make sure your rental is occupied and that's enough for you - this is your company. If you want a property management company that will protect your house/investment, you'll have to look elsewhere. Metro Property Management will likely fall short of your expectations.
For example: all of the following pictures are what Metro calls regular wear and tear after 8 months of occupancy. Freshly painted for the tenants of course. I was told that I couldn't keep any of the damage deposit for touch ups and repairs. There was counter and floor damage as well.
When asked to address the tenants going on vacation and leaving the windows open for a week when we had a lot of rain I was told that they were entitled to their peaceful enjoyment too. There was no one on the property with the exception of the person who showed up to clean up after their dog. Metro property management took their word over mine.
I have rented to wonderful tenants for 15 years. With the exception of the tenants I hired Metro property management to deal with and then the couple they found.
The ones that moved out stole my furniture even though I specifically told Metro what they were to leave behind.
Metro Property Management DID NOT protect my investment. Rather than watch my property depreciate in their care, I am selling my house.

As tenants, we can’t say enough positive things about Metro! They’re responsive & reliable when dealing with any type of repair or maintenance issue which is great, but we were also fortunate to have them by our side when dealing with a difficult situation with another tenant who lived below us. It was frightening for our children and uncomfortable for myself & my wife, but Brenda & Metro were there for us every step of the way and provided so much support. Property management companies can seem intimidating when you’re a tenant, but Metro is quite the opposite & consistently shows respect and value for tenants.

Worst customer service I had interest in one of their listings which was three bedroom which is convenient for a family of 4 I guess even they are adults.But they were like no we cannot manage it even we were ready to provide all the documents needed.and then they text me after one day that it is sold after almost we setup a viewing and process.If someone was interested in that property and was under talks they should have told other people who are interested in the same that the property is on hold so that they won’t waste their time. 👎worst experience

I enjoyed interacting with Brenda, who is unfailingly courteous and professional. They got me into a big house for a decent price with minimum hassle. They only thing I'd note is that they are busy so sometimes takes a little time to get an answer. But far better than stories I've heard about other agencies.

I've been with Metro Property Management for a while now, and I gotta say, they're a top-notch bunch. They've done a great job finding solid tenants for my place. Any time I had a question about repairs or what rent should be, they were right on the ball with answers.Their team's been nothing but friendly and professional, making my life a whole lot easier.
