I am deeply disappointed to write this review about Michelle, the caretaker at my building. Unfortunately, my experience with her has been nothing short of disrespectful, abusive, and entirely unhelpful.

On multiple occasions, I have witnessed Michelle using profanity and swearing at residents, including myself. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional for someone in her role. As a caretaker, she is supposed to provide a safe and respectful environment for residents, but she has failed in this regard.

Moreover, Michelle has been consistently unhelpful when approached with legitimate concerns or requests. Her attitude towards residents seems indifferent and hostile, making it uncomfortable to interact with her. It's disheartening to feel that one cannot rely on the building's caretaker for assistance and support.

I implore the management of the building to address these issues promptly and take appropriate action to rectify this situation. No resident should have to endure such disrespectful and abusive behavior from someone who is supposed to be responsible for their well-being.

In conclusion, my experience with Michelle as the caretaker has been nothing short of a nightmare. I sincerely hope that the necessary steps will be taken to improve the living conditions and the treatment of residents in this building.

I lived there for about 2.75 years and over that time it had a change of caretakers and both were great to deal with! The building was always clean and never any plumbing or utility problems! Communication was extremely quick between Gavin and Daniel. I would recommend.

My family and I have been residents in this apartment building for the past four years, and it is with great regret that I must write this negative review about Michelle, the resident manager.

Our longstanding tenure in this community has provided us with a unique perspective on the changes and, more importantly, the quality of service offered here. In recent times, we have experienced a significant decline in the level of professionalism and helpfulness provided by Michelle.

One would expect a resident manager to be approachable, knowledgeable, and helpful, especially to long-term residents. Unfortunately, Michelle's behavior has been anything but that. It's disheartening to report that we have been met with rudeness and uncooperativeness from her on several occasions.

When we've had issues or needed assistance, Michelle has shown a remarkable lack of empathy and professionalism. Her responses have been dismissive, and her attitude has been downright unhelpful. For individuals who have been living here for four years, this is extremely disappointing and frustrating.

We reached out to Michelle in the hope of resolving concerns that directly affect our quality of life in this community. However, she seemed disinterested and unwilling to address our concerns. Her dismissive attitude and lack of assistance are particularly troubling, given her role as a resident manager.

As long-term residents, we have always had high expectations for the service we receive from the resident manager, but our experience with Michelle has been utterly disappointing. Her unprofessionalism, rudeness, and unhelpfulness have tarnished our experience living here.

We genuinely hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for the management of this apartment building. The deteriorating quality of service, especially from a resident manager, is a cause for concern and frustration. We implore the management to take the necessary steps to address these issues so that the experience for long-term residents, like ourselves, can be improved and made more enjoyable.

The only worst management in winnipeg which doesn't know how to treat tenant and new applicant.
All management employees need customer support skills .

We have applied for sublet and their website has so many bugs . We have uploaded documents 3 times, and management rejected it and no clarification about it.
They wanna do background check, can do.
Funds have 30k cad in account and we both earn 6k per month. Still rejected and asked for cosigner.

We went to the management office to talk personally. They were super rude and did not give us any guidance or information.

We want apartments you need rent.
Giving 1 start as I can not give 0 .

Please try to find another apartment but never go for akman properties

Now these people don’t want to do business or they don’t care that how much people are struggling to get an apartment.

I lived at a condo managed by Akman Mgmt for 2 years and both Daniel and Gavin have been excellent to work with! Always timely and customer service oriented. Repairs done quickly and efficiently, and lease renewals taken care of without hassle.

I happened to be on a business trip recently and was seated next to Daniel. I did not know him whatsoever, but he initially did have some good insight regarding the Jets' playoff woes. After learning that he's a Property Manager at Akman, I ended up needing his services a few weeks later. Dan managed to help me get situated into a new short-term rental unit within two weeks. Not only was he courteous, but he was also there to assist me on my move-in date. Very grateful for all your help Daniel... Go Jets Go!
