Our experience with Metric Design was fabulous from start to finish. We explained our dream to them and they helped make that dream a reality through comprehension of our vision of what we wanted our new home to look like. Very detailed with their design, conceptual layout and color selections. We had several offers from GC's who had in house design and pitched that their design was free, which is not the case. We chose to go third party with our interior design so we were not being pitched a design that was cheap to build out for the builder but not what we really wanted. Metric delivered our custom product that was our initial vision. When we were a little over halfway through the process our main design contact at Metric resigned and moved on, Tamara quickly reassigned someone else who had a smaller role in our project and she executed what we required. One true test for any business is when a person leaves are they still able to deliver what the client wants and in this case they did deliver what we requested. We would highly recommend anyone considering an interior designer to meet with Metric to see what they can offer and deliver for you.

Worked with Amber and Cory on the furniture selection and staging of our living room. We are so impressed by the Metric team's dedication and flexibility! We really love working with Michael Anderson and Brandon at the design stage. They really take into account our expectation in detail. We left for vacation when Mike started the project and when we came home I feel like walking into a five star spa bathrooms😍😍🌹🌹, we were so happy!. Both bathrooms are so beautiful and elegant. Although the work done on my house was done quite a while ago, I would like to comment on my experience with the team at Metric Design. If I could give them more than a 10/10 I would! I had a major renovation to undertake and had to move out of my house while it was done. The project was completed in about 2 and a half months, way quicker than I anticipated. The trades people they provided were reliable and came when expected. The process seemed quite effortless.
Everyone at Metric was so professional and approachable. Although I had one assigned designer, Lisa, the entire staff at Metric were always available if I had questions and all seemed to be knowledgeable about my project. This was very helpful when Lisa was not available. They obviously operate as a team. Impressive.
Their products are fantastic and I always felt I had access to the latest styles. Availability of products was excellent and arrived in a timely manner. I live 2 hours from Saskatoon and that posed no problem at all.
My ideas were always taken into consideration, and helpful suggestions given. Metric helped me understand my style and how my existing furniture and decorative items could fit with new. I definitely wanted a more traditional style and that is what we achieved.
It was such a pleasant and positive experience from beginning to end, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Tamara should be commended for such an amazing business!

We booked a Design On the Fly meeting with Amy. What a great decision! She helped us see things with our renovation ideas that we hadn't thought of. She completely changed our minds on certain aspects and confirmed/ reassured us that we were on the track with other things. We had a solid two hour meeting full of ideas for everything from layout to finishing decor and how to place our furniture to work with the space. It was a great value to us, well worth the cost. I booked the 2 hour consultation when I moved into my new condo. Michael helped me pick colours for paint in each room and he gave me suggestions on how furniture might be placed and rooms arranged. He also helped me pick out an area rug for the living room. He provided lots of ideas and guidance for future projects as well. I would absolutely recommend this service if you need some ideas and a little help to feel confident going forward with your decorating.
