I had the pleasure of working with Alex and his team at Newton's Engineering. He helped us with a second floor development where we framed in an additional bedroom above our living room. To do this we added a column in the basement and a new beam to support the load. Alex designed a plan that worked within our layout and made sure we were comfortable with everything. He helped us apply for a building permit and provided an as-built for the inspection. Alex is a fantastic structural engineer and we will be working together on more projects to come!

We had a great experience. We hired Newtons engineering to design a basement foundation and creat floor plan drawings for a house we are moving on our property. Alex communicated clearly everything we needed and provided a detailed scope of work with the estimate so we completely understood what we were getting. Alex went above and beyond to ensure we had the right plans in place and the documentation required to support our building permit application. He remained personally involved, pulling out all the stops to get the look we wanted, within all safety guidelines.
