I want to write about my apartment, which I rented at 31A Timberstone Way, Red Deer, for two years. During my stay, everything was fine, and there were no problems. However, when it was time to move out, the process was terrible. The manager tried to find any dust or even the smallest scratch to avoid returning the deposit. In the end, I received only approximately 35% of my deposit back. This left me with unpleasant feelings and disappointment. Be aware about that, it was not only my experience.

A tenant on the first floor had a grease fire, resulting in the entire building being evacuated. Everyone was safe, but the building did not address it at all to its tenants despite their tenants being evacuated and visible damage that affected the main floor for many months. (No baseboards, floor torn up). There were multiple occasions where there were leaks on the main floor, where tenants were trying to get ahold of maintenance or anyone with laebon and we would not receive a response. Myself and another tenant went knocking on peoples doors to warn them of the leak.
Very poor experience with the general manager, Matthew. Very condescending.

These units are kept in beautiful shape. A lot of work is very apparent to keep these properties in top notch condition. Meticulously maintained, clean and organized for the benefit of everyone. 5 stars for Laebon rental communities!!

Matt is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever spoken to! Happy to take your rent but refuses to help if you have any issues. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste money renting from them! He expected me as a young women to somehow pull down my own smoke detector on my roof at 830pm cause he was to lazy to call and have someone fix it.
