Recently moved out and have lived there for over a year. Maintenance is so quick to reach out to you and get things fixed, building is well maintained (cleaned every day, parking lot sweeps, etc). Management as well is super quick to get back to you an any inquiries. Very nice staff, always so happy and polite

Overall a pretty quick apartment, never had to make any noise complaints!

I lived at the Chappelle Springs complex for about 3 years and the management team was always on top of things and ensuring we were cared for when we had questions or concerns. Most recently I no longer live there but we had a package accidentally delivered to our old address and the team at Broadstreet specifically Alfredo was quick to act and assist us in locating our package! They were super helpful even though we were no longer tenants there! Thank you to them and I would absolutely recommend for others to rent from them. Thank you 🙂

We lived at Chappelle Springs Broadstreet Apartments for five years, and our experience evolved significantly over time. At first, the landlords we had weren’t great, which made things a bit challenging. However, everything changed when Alfredo became our landlord.

Even though we only had Alfredo for a short period, his impact was remarkable. Alfredo was incredibly caring and kind, a refreshing change from our previous experiences. He always went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

When it came time to move out, Alfredo's honesty and transparency were evident. There were no hidden charges, and he returned our damage deposit promptly and fairly. His straightforward approach made the move-out process stress-free.

Anyone who lives at Chappelle Springs will be grateful to have Alfredo as their landlord. He’s truly a gem, and we’re confident he will make the building even better. Highly recommended!

I lived here since the building opened. I have seen people come and go. Susan is the best Luna looks for her when we come in and Samara loves the hugs. Susan is like part of the family, she is a great person and fun to talk too, For the rest of the Staff Members here at Chappelle springs they are friendly always saying hello And good morning. I will never move it feels like home.

What the fudge and cookies she was the only one who didn’t have a problem telling you how it is and following through with what she said. we have 3 to 6 different people downstairs in that office since. every time we complained they asked us to record it, never have I had a neighbour like this.
Holy water people get your stuff together respect our neighbours. When is enough enough.

Every couple of years it seems like they get a new manager. Each manager is different in their own ways. The building seems to be going downhill the hallway stink could be because they no longer vacuum the hallways just sweeping.
Staff are not as friendly as they once were.

A big shout to Alfredo at Chappelle springs-Broadstreet properties. He has been the most helpful person through out our stay in the building. No issues whatsoever and Management is amazing there . We never had any security issues in the building. From the time of me visiting the property first time till the time I left the building, Alfredo has helped us with completing all the procedures. He explained the process thoroughly and there were no hidden elements discovered afterwards. I even had referred my other family members to the building, who are currently living in the building and having the same great experience as us.
Alfredo helped us with move out process and he even informed us about the timeline of me receiving my security deposit back so that there are no surprises.
All in all , me and my family had a very good experience with the building. I definitely recommend others to consider Chappelle springs for their stay as well.

Don’t be fooled by the “$500 off first month rent” promotion. That $500 is actually your $499 security deposit, which you will not get back under any circumstance. In fact, at the end of your lease you will be found owing at least $150 after your security deposit is taken. And you will be threatened with collections a week or so after lease termination. This building and, more specifically, Broadstreet are a big scam and an extortion scheme.

Forget the paper-thin walls and floors, and the fierce dogs lunging at you and your children in the single elevator; let us pretend there wasn’t this unresponsive building management, that sends you a form to write an essay every time you voice a complaint; let us pretend that the management cleared the snow and ice and didn’t allow it to build up for months on the ground; you will still face the reality of a scamming and lying building management that is hell-bent on robbing you.

And don’t be fooled either by the diminutive little man, Alfredo, feigning honesty and sincerity. His matching little self-esteem makes him so insecure that his fraudulence makes one nauseated. He is going to lie to you and take your $499 “security deposit” to cover trumped-up charges for carpet-cleaning for non-existent stains, blown light bulbs that you inherit when you take possession, silly cheap spring door-stops and other scratches on doors when you first move in.

Herein lies his scam dance. After signalling your intention not to renew the lease (they do not do month-to-month but they will not tell you that), he will visit your apartment with one of his idiotic minions, under the guise of doing a “move-out inspection.” He will tell you two or three bulbs are blown and a door-stop or two are missing and he will give you the option of replacing them yourself or he will deduct it from your $499 security deposit. He will not tell you of any minor scratches on cabinet doors or lint in a room carpet and give you the option of correcting it, even though it is minor and it was how you inherited it when moving in. He will —in his snake-like sincerity —tell you how he will deposit your $499 security deposit to your account used to pay your monthly rent 10 days after you move out. He will even ask you for a mailing address where he can send the money in the event the deposit transaction fails.

Then, after you move out —when you can’t contest the charges because you are not present— a few days later, some idiot named Brent will email you a threatening letter demanding that you pay $150 or so, or face collections if not paid “very soon.” He will let you know that the balance you owe is after they have applied charges for phantom damage done to fixtures. He will make it clear that there is no such thing as wear and tear and you must pay immediately or face collections and damage to your credit status.

The entire Broadstreet operation is a shameless scam and an even more ruthless extortion racket. They especially target new arrivals to Alberta by making it easy to secure rental apartments without even credit checks. They are like gambling houses, where the house always wins. You will be scammed. Steer clear of Chappelle Springs and all other Broadstreet properties.

Be careful in visitor parking, they like to have tow trucks steal your car without having adequate signage posted of the rules of visitor parking. Not nice Broadstreet, visitors need to know the rules before deciding to park in visitor parking. They tell you to get a parking pass from the site office that isn't open at night. How about some signs to let guests know as it is their vehicle that will get towed at a cost to them.
