Awful work, responsible for some construction on 16a and to get onto our side road we haven't a functioning merge lane in months. Now that it's icy I guess these morons expect people to go from 80 to 10 km/h on a busy highway. Expected date was November 18th and they've gone far past due to needing to do the merge lanes twice now. Lanes are shortened and narrow and everything is much worse than before they touched it. Praying to God this company goes under.

Now this is a bit tough as some people I know are in Upper management.
This is the worst place I’ve ever worked in 23 years. Completely disorganized, safety is not even considered, onsite management has no clue what they are doing, upper management is so disconnected they don’t see what’s going on on site.
As a result the workers are not happy, the quality of work shows this, there is zero mentoring and workers generally just go for the paycheque. Which I might add is stellar because they are so far behind on projects a proper work life balance isn’t possible.
Just don’t.

THIS COMPANY TAKES 0 RESPONSIBILITY.
there was a traffic cone left by PME ( they admitted it was theirs)
in the middle of highway 16A - waaaay past the construction zone on the way from Edmonton to spruce grove.
i watched many people swerve and almost cause a collision trying to avoid this pylon.
because there was a vehicle on the other side of me when i passed it, icould only swerve so much and i clipped it with my mirror. Luckily i am an experienced driver and acted accordingly, but going that high of a speed many people would NOT have reacted the way that i did and it could've caused a huge collision with the potential of a fatality. but i am sure had that happened, PME would not take responsibility for that either.

i spoke with someone at PME and they agreed it was their pylon and that it was out of place.
They asked me to call 3 different dealerships to get a quote on how much to fix my mirror and they would replace it.
i sent them the 3 quotes and they said no problem we will write a chq for X amount and tell you when its available and we can meet and sign a form when the cheque is handed over.

5 days later they send me another message saying they " investigated and decided its not their fault"

BIG WASTE OF MY TIME!!!!! and now no one will even respond to me.

not to mention the following week i saw that Pylon in a different spot on that highway... where it was clearly hit by another person.

pls tell me how you could possibly do an investigation and leave the hazard IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY.
Looks to me like no investigating was done because you guys just care THAT much about the publics safety.

I am now afraid to drive with my baby on this highway as clearly its not properly monitored and no one puts safety as a priority.

Thanks PME for causing me to fear driving, wasting my time, and then ghosting me.
Really professional company.

PLS DON’T HIRE THEM FOR CONSTRUCTION AS THEY MAY PUT PEOPLES LIVES IN DANGER AND TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT.

Disappointing Experience with PME

I had a very disappointing experience with PME. After going through the hiring process, they offered me a position as an electrical apprentice, just to inform me 2 months later that they never had a position for me to begin with and told me quote on quote “Good luck finding another job” after countless weeks of waiting for someone to call me regarding my start date I got nothing. I was the one having to reach out to multiple numbers and getting redirected many times to different people that were supposed to know about my start date. It was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional to have my time wasted like this. I was led to believe all summer I had a secured job .This kind of unprofessional behaviour shows a lack of respect for employees and their time. I would not recommend anyone to apply to this company based on my experience.

"Extremely disappointed with the service due to late payments. Despite repeated follow-ups, the issue remains unresolved, causing unnecessary stress. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Timely payments are a basic expectation, and failing to meet them reflects poorly on the company's reliability. I hope they address this issue urgently."

PME Worst road construction ever, proof the lowest bidder won not with the experience or function. Hwy 44 into Westlock sure is proof that their road construction and paving quality is garbage. The roads are better shape before they were touched by PME. Anyone with a spinal injury on the way to the hospital would be worse once travelled their end product. 🤮
