Best campground ive been to. Owners are wonderful. Open all year round. Clean and scenic. Has play area and pond!

Very disapointed. I've stayed there before for work and it was a very nice cabin and grounds, but this time when I called to book a stay, I was told I can't until 4 days before I come. Makes it hard to take time off for a holiday and not know if you have a place to stay. I was told it's because of work crews coming and going. If the cabin isn't being used at this time then I should be able to book it. But it seems they only care about the money now, not willing to chance having a work crew not be able to have a room for a night. If that's how it is then don't advertise as cabins advertise as a work camp. Really disappointed and irritated because it was a beautiful place to stay and my wife and I were excited to go back there.

I've stayed at Outback twice now. Once with a camper and once in the deluxe cabin. As a resident of Edson I am embarrassed it has taken me this long to stay here. For a weekend with friends and kids it's absolutely fabulous. The trout pond and playground were huge hits with the kids (10, 7, and 5) and the campground itself is friendly and clean. The staff are super helpful. I had a bit of an issue with my furnace and Outback was able to get the kids and I into a cabin at 9:30 AM. Not to mention the prices are super reasonable. A fraction of places further to the west and no less of an experience.

The RV sites are are decently sized with lots of space in-between them and the water, power and sewer hookups are well done and easy to use. Downside is that they are hard to get as they are all rented by work crews but if one were to become available for any length of time over the summer I'd snap it up right away.

I have heard that there are a lot of work crews staying here and that's true but it's not at all like a work camp or anything like that. It's much more of a vacation destination than I could have imagined and the guys we did talk to who are working around here were super nice and friendly.

I know this has gone on for too long but I really do feel a bit dumb that I have drove past Outback thousands of times but just stayed there for the first time this year.

Great place! Easy to find, affordable, staff were friendly, beautiful property. Close enough to town it wasnt bad going back and forth and far enough away to be peaceful!

Super helpful staff and everything is nice and clean, very peaceful and lovely scenery. Prices are good and they have food available to buy on site so you don’t have to run into town. I’ll always stop by when I’m passing through now because there’s much less hassle than getting a hotel room.
