I couldn’t get my truck in anywhere, after talking to Mike at Letcar, he got me in the next day and got my transmission issues sorted and had me back on the road right away.
The tech that worked on my truck, Joe, did a good job, and Mike went the extra mile to get my truck back to me.
I’d definitely go back to these guys if I have any issues in the future… I drive a dodge diesel, I’m sure I’ll be back haha

Here’s a review from my experience. I called this company to check my BMW as it had an engine check light so I dropped it off on July 17th 2023 where they had diagnosed it and found the problem. They called me back that day to tell me the total cost and I asked for a price breakdown where they told me they would send it in a text. I did not receive a text and waited until the next day and still there was no text until I called them and reminded them. I thought okay no worries people forget but then I received the text where they just summarized it in a sentence. The price was fair so I agreed and let them proceed fixing the car. They said they would have to wait until the part came in and that it would take 3-4 business days which I was okay with. It came to the 3rd business day, there was no update so I went in physically to go check if they got the part. They said they didn’t get the parts but if they get the parts the next day they will start working on the car. Time went by and there was no update or text. Throughout the whole process my boyfriend and I had to constantly physically go to the shop to ask them for any update. The car was finally ready on July 27th 2023 for a job that was quoted for a 4 hour job. This is where they texted me that the cost would be more than the original cost they gave me because of small bolts that broke off. They did not warn me or tell me about this problem and only told me after I asked what happened to the original cost they gave me. When we went to go pick up my car, we inspected it before picking it up and paying. There were new scratches around my car, and there are cracked pieces of plastic under the hood that were not there in the beginning. My boyfriend told the receptionist about these scratches that appeared under the care and liability of the shop. The receptionist wanted to see the scratches for himself. My boyfriend showed him the different scratches around the car and the pictures that were taken of the car before we dropped it off. The receptionists started to be ignorant and get mad at my boyfriend as he went around the car carelessly saying “that was there” repeatedly without even looking. The receptionist also said that they had pictures of the car before working on it but could not provide us with these photos no matter how many times we asked. My boyfriend told them if they can provide us with the pictures they supposedly had and the pictures had the exact same scratches around the car then there would be no problem but they insisted on showing us the photos. This was the receptionist speaking, someone who did not even work on the car. He even told us if the car is on the street (which is where they decided to park it) it is not their responsibility. EVEN THOUGH, they have the keys and maybe could have kept it in their shop. I know not ideal but they should make sure the car is under good care.

My point in this review is to warn you before deciding to trust this company with your car. The communication, care and the respect for the customers is lacking. If you want your car to be in the condition you dropped it off at just be cautious with letting this company work on your car. They damaged my car, blamed us for the damage then did nothing for us nor took any responsibility. I hope one day auto shops will own up to their mistakes.

We called these guys to fix our hot tub and the first couple of visits were great, they showed up on time and did the work but after noticing our hot tub had another leak, one that wasn't noticeable at the time they were here we called them back and it's been very frustrating ever since. They haven't shown up when they say they would, they don't communicate to us letting us know they aren't coming. This has been ongoing all summer. It's taken almost a month of calling them to get them here to give us a quote. We've set up multiple times for them to come and as usual they don't show up and don't communicate with us. My fiancé is adamant on using them since we'd have to start from scratch with another company. So we finally received a quote, we decided to have them repair the hot tub and again schedule a time which again they did not show up for and no communication. So once again we reschedule to today between 9 and 10am and shocker another no show. These guys are horrible and must not believe in customer service at all. We were so happy when we first dealt with them thinking we found a great company to work with and I'm not sure what has happened to them since the spring but it's one of the worst experiences I've had with a company in this town and I've lived here my whole life. If they were good to you, great maybe you got lucky but we sure haven't. I would think twice about using them at least for hot tub services.

These guys were so quick to fit me in to replace all four headlights, they were the best price in town, and very quick. Super friendly staff. The best experience I've had thus far in fort mcmurray. They will definitely be getting all my business.

Wonderful and HONEST MECHANICS!!! I went because breaks were making noise , thought they needed replacing, they just blew them out and told me they were good for another 5 months so refreshing that they didn't try to replace them and say they were worn out like that other place up the street .

Have brought my car in a few times, each time the mechanics are efficient and thorough with what needs to be done. Will be bringing my car back in for future work as well 🙂

I had the misshap of being in direct line of fire of the flood. My insurance company sent over representatives that were totally engrossed on a list of predetermined fixes and denials within the first 10 minutes of arrival based on the capabilities of their favorite entourage restoration buddies. Thank heavens the 2016 wildfires taught me my lessons when it came to insurance woe's with out of town restoration promises. Letcar had looked after me with a rescue after a rebuild fail back then, and they responded in kind again this round with quick service and networking with other local contractors, my light at the end of the tunnel is just around the corner now instead of months away.
