I spent 3 weeks trying to work with these guys. I would call to speak with a structural engineer and be told that someone would call me back later in the day or the next day, and my calls continually went unanswered. After finally managing to arrange to have one of them conduct an assessment on my home, I was again told I would receive a call the following business day. This time I waited 7 extra business days before finally calling and demanding my paperwork back. (This was also after receiving a completely ridiculous quote on a small project I very desperately need done.)
I get the feeling that both the sky-high quote and the lack of returned phone calls means they did not want my project, but the least I would expect in this situation is to be directed somewhere, not dodged and avoided.
I'd try other businesses before trying this place unless you enjoy being given the run-around.
I should also add that the project I referred to here was extremely time sensitive, so these guys have left me in quite the predicament. If you don't want the contract, say it! Don't dodge people, we are all adults and this isn't high school.

He worked with us and our builders design team and engineers and produced exactly what we needed in little time. We are definitely hiring Access Engineering for all of our BC projects.
