I called Dave at 7:30 am on a Tues morning as our central ac was not blowing cold. To my surprise, he arrived early afternoon the same day, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and left by 4 pm. Dave discovered our furnace board was shot. It's noteworthy that I had another local HVAC company out last summer for the same issue who told me it was only due to poor ventilation of our 2-storey house and not a malfunctioning ac unit (I was billed $350 for less than 1 hour on site for that!) Since Empire Air came out I'm happy to report our ac has been blowing cold + strong. Got my invoice today, service was priced as quoted. Highly recommend the guys at Empire Air, we found Dave and his team to be honest, transparent and fair! Bonus is he educates on what to do/not to do for a healthy HVAC. 5 stars for sure!

Our thermostat broke right in the middle of a heat wave. We thought it was going to take a long time until someone could come and have a look. We called Dave at Empire Air, and he had Tony come over right away! Both Dave and Tony were so congenial and knowledgeable. Our AC was up and running in no time. Dave and his team were great - we bought a home that was having AC issues and Dave was easy to get a hold of, responsive, and was able to find the problem quickly.
Based on the age and condition of the system, Dave walked us through 3 possible fixes, the pluses and minuses of each, and was able to provide clear estimates/budgets for each choice.
We decided the best choice for us was to replace the AC, and Dave helped source a new unit, and get in installed quickly (before the heat wave currently!). The final invoice was as quoted, and the work performed was great - really clean installation inside and out. Today will be 37C but we are nice and cool inside now!
Very happy, would highly recommend Empire Air, and we'll be calling them back in the fall for maintenance on our furnace and fireplace!

Empire Air was AMAZING to deal with. In the middle of a crazy heat wave Dave was extremely responsive and made time to get my install done quickly. The install crew was awesome and Tyler was on time, responsive, communicative, easy to deal with, and the installation was SO quick! They were respectful, clean, didn't leave a mess, and were great with my dog as they came in and out. Thank you so much to Dave and Tyler for such an awesome experience - it has been a dream to have a cooler house!

Empire Air installed air conditioning in our 2 storey home and did an amazing job! Dave came to plan it out and do the quote and Tyler and Johnny did the actual install. All of them were on time, knowledgeable, tidy, very professional and did amazing work. They were all also so great with our kids and dogs which was an added bonus. Overall this company was a pleasure to have and I would definitely recommend their services.

I have had the pleasure of Dave work on a few items for us at two homes now, where Empire is our only choice for either repairs, or new equipment. Dave and Tyler recently installed our air conditioning and it is wonderful, Tyler and Dave are hard working, knowledgeable and both extremely courteous and professional.

We built a new home and used Empire Air for the HVAC, and we are so happy we did! Dave and Tyler did a fantastic job with the installation, especially with our kitchen hood fan which was being particularly difficult. They were very understanding and patient with us as first-time home builders which we very much appreciated. We would absolutely recommend Empire Air!!
