I would like to share my frustrating and costly experience with Straight Way Rentals, which has resulted in significant losses for my company.

I was approached by Straight Way to provide a custom engineered man basket. They requested that I submit the drawing before any deposit was made, which I did. However, after completing the drawing, they refused to pay the agreed-upon deposit or compensate my company for the work done. As a result, my business is now out over $2,400 for the cost of the drawing alone, not to mention the additional business opportunities lost due to the delay.

Over the past 40 days, I have worked with Straight Way on this project, and their level of unreliability and dishonesty has been deeply disappointing. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution when considering this company. Alex at Straight Way has repeatedly failed to fulfill financial commitments, showing no intention of paying the agreed-upon bills. Furthermore, they even asked me to spend more money on additional work before compensating me for the drawing I had already completed.

When renting from companies like Straight Way, I typically pay my invoices promptly when the equipment is returned. The expectation is that the rental company, as the service provider, receives payment for their services in accordance with their terms. However, Straight Way has made it clear that their policy is to not pay until a project is complete. This policy seems unreasonable given that they stand to profit significantly from the deal, yet they refuse to pay the contractor for work already completed.

In my experience, when I rent equipment or services, I fulfill my financial obligations promptly. Unfortunately, Straight Way has proven to be an exception to this practice.

I urge others to seek out more reputable and reliable rental companies. Be wary of dealing with Straight Way Rentals.

My boss told me we needed to rent 24 fence panels. I said no sir I think we need at least 26. I ended up asking Hilda J for 30. It was the perfect amount. Hilda J rocks. A+

Overall a good place to rent equipment. I give them 3 stars as Alex in the front office wasn't the greatest to deal with. When I called to reconfirm my order, each time was met with an incorrect order/information. He also was unable to remain professional when a situation/last minute cancellation came up. I understood I had to pay cancellation fees, but the way in which he processed this was not at a high level of customer service. In the end, they did me a favour, but regardless, the friendliness and attention to detail of this business comes from Leo and the other employees.

I am extremely pleased with the services I receive from Strait Way Ltd. Can depend on them for all my equipment rental and mechanical repairs needed at great prices. Can't find service as great as this anymore. Leo the owner has always gone above and beyond my expectations with very prompt, trustworthy, professional services. I was having an issue with my t-180 bobcat and Leo was able to diagnose the problem within 30 minutes more than I can say for others that have worked on my machine before and he was able to have my machine running great again in a day. I am now a loyal client and know many others will feel the same after using Strait Ways services. I always recommend Strait Way Ltd. to anyone needing rental equipment or mechanical repairs.

Highly recommend going to see Leo and Jolene. I had a horrible smoke smell in my house that I could just not get out no matter what I did, I rented the ozonator what a miracle the smoke was gone with in hours. Would recommend this machine to anyone trying to get a smell out of there home or any space that seems to be impossible this will do the trick!
