Very poor quality of work done along with multiple other issues throughout the insurance job. They charged the insurance company for multiple things they never did, for example floor covering they charged for then just used old boxes. They charged for floor covering in areas of the house they never even went in, charged to acclimate floor then didn't acclimate it. In spots they left huge gaps where the trim didn't fully cover it, and other spots it's super tight. They made a lot of promises and didn't fall through on them like providing proof the tub supports had been replaced.

The in progress pictures I posted are to show damage caused to my speakers and Improper gaps along the wall that are mostly covered with trim. The rest are finished product and show the transition strip and how poorly it was installed. I cannot even remove the sump pump cover as the entire floor comes with it. Not to mention the glue all over the floor, the damage done to the ceiling by the tub surround install etc.

Left over hardware was not removed. That picture was taken the day I posted the review.

Please have Luke provide photos of all the floor coverings you charged the insurance company for upstairs. Given noneof your staff ever went upstairs I doubt that you can.

The delivery fee was a separate charge and listed as a delivery fee. If no acclimation was required why did you charge for it.

I've asked for photos of the tub supports multiple times and not been provided them.

We were unfortunate to have a flood in our basement but for us we were fortunate Winmar responded immediately and took care of us preventing further damage to.our property. Richie and his crew were very professional and upfront with the whole.process. His crew removed all the damaged material and cleaned up the mess making the basement spotless. I was very impressed on how efficient they worked together and the final outcome. I have no reservations using winmar again andI highly recommend Richie and his crew for your restoration job.

I dont normally write reviews but thought in this case I would. We had a pipe Bib from our garden hose explode into our basement making a huge mess, we had called the insurance company who had redirected our issue to Winmar Kingston. We had a team come immediately on a Sunday to assess our damage led by Richard one of the foremen for Winmar who was extremely nice. He had looked at the situation and gave us the best recommendations for repair, after he had made his analysis of the damage, we had Luke come visit us to take measurements and recheck things for the insurance claim, he was kind and thorough with making sure things were going to be smooth with the transition for repairs. We had probably some of the nicest, professional people I've ever met come to actually do the repairs on our home. Dillon, Matt and Tina as far as I'm concerned are the tip of the sword with their renovation skills and knowledge of repairing things back to as far as I'm concerned better than what it was before! Its not easy having people you don't know into your home for almost a week, but honestly was a pleasure seeing this crew come back each day. I know sometimes reviews get missed or unread, but I hope the owners of winmar give all of the people I've mentioned a pat on the back and know they have some of the best people working for them with this company. We had a hot water pipe burst and caused water damage in our basement. Winmar removed all the damaged quickly. The repair work took longer the I would have liked, but it was done professionally. The workers were very friendly and went above and beyond our expectations.(especially Jordan).We are pleased with the final job.

Came in when we had a flood in july, and wanted to do a "clean out" while we tried to salvage things we could. Broke some of our furniture than wouldnt take responsbility. Everytime you talk to someone they give you a different story. They tried to tell us we had massive mold infestation and our foundation was crumbling. My husband who was a forman doing foundations for 15 years SPECIALIZING in basements and waterproofing ripped out the walls and there was absolutely nothing wrong with foundation
They came back like 5 times for a job that could have been done i 2 days.

Took weeks for them to send report to my insurance company, and when you call the owner/manager shawn he never returns your calls.

If they come into your home please have someone supervise because i wouldnt put it past them to take advantage of seniors, or anyone that doesnt know alot about repairs.

Supervisor also accused us of being irresponsible by waiting so long to call...even tho we had half the basement riped out cause we werent sure what to do. These people do not have any sympathy or compassion for people in a difficult situation which would be most of their client base. Told them several times not to touch certain things that were my grandparents or my fathers that are sentimental as they have passed on and they dont listen , broke it all instead.

Will never recomend or use this company again.

We had a flood in our basement on Christmas morning. That evening the owner showed up and helped us... on Christmas!

Renovation went very well. Crew was excellent to deal with. Very professional, courteous, and hard working. They all took time to answer my questions. Work quality was excellent. Would heartily recommend them to anyone.

We had a sewage pipe break in our foundation wall. We contacted Winmar and they were super responsive and quick to help us find a resolution. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with a renovation or restoration.

My father had a medical emergency over a weekend requiring immediate professional cleaning services and removal of his carpet. Pam and her team were a calm and reassuring presence and took care of all the details so I could focus on him. They communicated with his building manager and kept me in the loop the whole time (I don't live in town). I highly recommend this company.
