1 star well deserved. Awful, don't care about tenants. Will treat you like complete dirt if you try to complain, even go as far as threats of eviction.
Have been at the 300 Regent building for many years, and would have left years ago if my finances allowed. Lots of illegal drug use (heroin and crack) in public areas (Laundry room, stairwells) which leaves you to see hypodermic needles and burnt spoons daily.
No superintendent here for the last 2 years.
There is surveillance in the building, but as the one picture shows, they tend to be destroyed as well.
Been attacked by a resident more than once, and harassed daily. Constant screaming and slamming doors, and cigarette butts in the halls and stairwells stomped into the floor. Place is worse than a youth hostel.
Avoid at all costs.

I rented an apartment with Springers and am very happy with the experience. Facilities are very well-managed. The property managers respect tenants - a big shout out to Andrew and Sarah, they are very professional, responsive and always handle questions in a timely manner.

My experience with the Springer Group of Companies over the past nearly 17 years was one of professionalism and courtesy.

Things that broke in the two apartments I lived in were tended to within, especially during the pandemic, reasonable time frames.

Every representative from the organization I dealt with were polite and decent people. Unfortunately, I had to move on, but the parting was amicable, and I will miss their reliable natures.

I have been renting from Springer Group of Companies for just over a year now. In having lived in many cities and rented from many rental agencies, I can share that I appreciate the high level of professionalism the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager uphold. Whether I have questions regarding tax receipts or repairs/upgrades, they provide courteous and efficient customer service over email. As I particularly value privacy, the Property Manager has been kind in scheduling maintenance staff and contractors to enter my apartment when I can be present. I've heard other people talk of their 'slum lord landlords' in Kingston, and I'm grateful that I see no signs of this. It's clear the Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, and P.M. Administrator respect their tenants, their buildings, their careers and themselves. This respect is invaluable and I sincerely appreciate their kind service. Thank you!

I signed a lease with Springer Group 1 month ago and have had an amazing experience as a tenant of a 1 bedroom apartment.

Andrew and Sarah, the property manager and assistant property manager, have been very responsive and have addressed any issues I've had in a timely manner. Sarah was very prompt and professional when I had to complete the initial rental application and contract and was very helpful, answering any questions I had. Upon moving into the unit, I noticed that a few repairs were needed, including a door sweep, window, and mailbox, Andrew responded promptly and professionally and the repairs were completed within a few business days. Another time, Andrew was passing by the building when he noticed I was having trouble lifting a heavy piece of furniture up the stairs. He was very kind and went above and beyond to help me lift the furniture. Andrew and Sarah have been amazing thus far and you can tell they truly care about their tenants--they have gone out of their way many times to help me. Overall, they are great professionals and communicators and I would not hesitate to rent with Springer Group again.

Overall just a phenomenal organization. Their attention to detail is like none other in the industry and I'm super glad I chose to go with them opposed to some of their competitors. I've been doing business with the Springer Group for eight years and never have had a problem getting paid. The management is very good to work with and they are very flexible with time lines. The do everything possible to ensure contractors and tenants are happy with every business deal.
