Very happy with Candek on a big deck project with our Townhouse complex in Canmore.
There are 3 attached units in our complex which is now more than 30 years old.
We needed repair or replacement work on 4 separate decks.

Candek was happy to quote a price on several scenarios ranging from full deck replacement to new railings and support beams only. In the end we went with a combination of both and the results are fantastic.

With 3 owners involved in our biggest expense to date we had endless questions and there was a lot of back and forth.
Throughout the process Liam was quick to respond to every concern and put our minds at ease. He found ways to save us money by using existing framework that didn’t need replacement.
In the end it was one complete new deck, new railings and support beams for the others and Duradek to cover all 4.

The Candek crew was on time, efficient, courteous and thorough.

- Workmanship was very high quality. The workers that visited our site were very professional and knew what they were doing.
- Candek was not cheap, but the value the provided was excellent and the final product was high quality.

Liam and his team at Candek were fantastic; they installed 40 decks-and-railings at our condo complex in an organized, timely fashion, checking with us in regards to material storage in advance, keeping us informed throughout the project, and visiting individual owners who voiced concerns along the way. When Liam did his initial quote, he even noted some incorrect fasteners from a prior project done by a different contractor, explained the correct ones that should have been used and offered to swap them out! I would highly recommend them to anyone with a similar project!
