I didn’t expect that I could have such a wonderful customer service and communication with Emily before arriving in Calgary. The customer service Emily provided for me makes me feel that I along with my life in Calgary is cared by her but not pushed just for renting out the apartment. Emily is the best sale I met. Young, rich, extrovert, energetic students and friends, please choose Aria apartment!!! The Aria apartment and the service around you won’t let you down!!!!

We have lived in Aria for over 3 years, since our wing opened to renters. We have had a great experience and loved living here and moving on will be bittersweet. U of C is within walking distance and the children’s and foothills hospitals are also very close by. It’s a great area with lots of new things being added, everything you need is in walking distance! We have loved using the courtyard especially for barbecuing and playing pickleball. The gym is fully equipped with machines and is a great amenity! The ownership change that happened a while ago and subsequent new management team greatly improved our experience living at Aria. Staff are amazing and responds to issues very quickly, they are also on site most weekdays which is great in case of urgent issues.

Some tips: Be aware you might be able to hear your upstairs neighbours, and that the building is connected to the shops below by the fire alarm system, so if there is a fire in any of the shops the whole building has to be evacuated. Make sure your parcels are left in the parcel lockers as non-residents occasionally may enter the lobby. There is sometimes outside noise at night from people leaving the bars or university students but it’s usually pretty quiet at night.

Overall, it’s a very nice building with a lot of great amenities and a great place to call home. It’s a very convenient place to live for students and medical staff, and all the residents are very friendly!

My family of 4 ( + 2 pups) lived in the Aria for 2 years. We really appreciated the office staff Claire and Emily. These gals are always ready to help and problem solve if there is an issue. We loved living here. There is a real sense of community with a Christmas market for the building, egg cooperative, oodles of free events for residents and more. The courtyard is such a bonus with tons of BBQs, lots of places to sit, lawn bowling, pickle ball court and airstream to host outdoor events with. We utilized the party room and guest suites multiple times as we love to entertain. Never been disappointed in these spaces and such a great amenity to have at your finger tips and free to use to boot!! This building has storage for rent and it was such a bonus. Plus electric chargers for those with EVs. This building is more like a community. We got to know tons of people and we are sad to move.

I've lived at Aria for 3 years, and throughout that time Emily and Claire, the building managers, were an excellent part of my experience. They were responsible and receptive to tenant feedback and issues, and were invaluable during the move out.

The building does have a few quirks, namely air flow and noise from nearby construction, but Aria is worth living in for the quality of service.

I've been living in ARIA for just about 6 weeks now, and so far, it has been nothing short of a blessing to me and my family. Coming off a very difficult situation, Emily and Claire worked with me to ensure my family had a place to live. The kindness they have shown us is something I will always be grateful for.

Our unit is small, but thanks to the smart layout, it still feels spacious and doesn’t make us feel like we’re living in a shoebox. It’s also conveniently close to the elevator, yet we can barely hear people coming and going—probably because many of the residents are professionals with varied schedules. While the rent is a bit higher compared to other areas in the city, the customer service and amenities certainly make up for it. ARIA offers plenty of convenient in-building amenities, so we find ourselves rarely needing to leave. In fact, I think I’ve broken a few pinball game records in my first few weeks here, my daughter is now a pool shark at 14, and having access to a bigger kitchen when I want to cook a larger meal or entertain has been a game-changer. Plus, you don’t have to pay to use the common areas for extended periods! At other buildings we looked at, you’d still need to pay for using common spaces for gatherings. The Wi-Fi in the lounge is great (and free!), and there are two workout rooms. I’ll admit, I haven’t used them yet, but they’re well-equipped with everything from weights to a punching bag for stress relief. ARIA also hosts monthly events that help foster a sense of community among residents.

The building’s location is incredibly convenient too, with easy access to transit, Market Mall, movie theaters, AB Children's Hospital, and a variety of restaurants.

Our unit faces University Avenue, so it can get a bit noisy at times, but nothing that keeps me up at night. With winter now in full swing, I’m more often awakened by the sound of snow being cleared by a bobcat. On the bright side, it means the sidewalks are always cleared when we head out to catch our bus. Other than the occasionally moody elevator, there hasn’t been much of a hassle.

Is this place too good to be true? Maybe… but so far, my family and I are very happy to be ARIA residents, and we hope to stay for a long time.

The Aria was a fantastic experience of living and enjoyment. Move in and move out were very simple, the management team of Claire and Emily is great and easy to talk to and deal with, including when issues occurred in the apartment. The people are quite friendly. Plenty of enjoyable amenities and stuff around in the U/D and living with pets is quite easy and bonus the pet fee was very reasonable monthly. The only reason I am not staying is because I am moving to the UK for school! It’s a great place for everyone young and old, I would suggest looking into the Aria if you are thinking of moving to the U/D.

Great place. Great building to live. The management, Claire and Emily and team are especially excellent. Really liked living here, would come back.
