I have lived in Peak housings rental unit for almost 3 years. My property manager was Sandra. Truthfully, we had a good experience. Sandra has been very quick to respond, with immense professionalism, and in all honesty, one of the greatest property managers I have rented with.

the company has contacted me since posting. They have said that they will be taking people's personal lives into consideration while dealing with delicate matters. They offered a gift card, a good reference, and a chance to return to the condo after renovations.

They kicked us out with a days warning and then threatened that we would have to pay for their damages if we did not move immediately.

I rented from peak housing in March of 2024 with my cat and my two year old. I signed an entire year. First they did not remount my dishwasher after doing pre-move in renovations until a whole month into living in our space. The nails in the carpet cut my kids foot twice and they refused to fix it and told us it was fine. They allowed a man to WALK INTO MY HOME uninvited and claimed "they sent him to the wrong unit." This was just the beginning of our problems.

The first leak happened and they kicked us out for a day only to place a fan in the space and tell us it would be fine.

The second leak destroyed my daughters travel bed and made the space musty after flooding the utility room and displacing us for two days. This was fixed with a fan.

The third leak was so bad it destroyed our book shelf. It was at this point they told us we would need to leave 5 months early and we would not be welcome back. The company did offer us another unit but it did not have an oven, and had very steep stairs that were very unsuitable for a two year old. They tried to treat it as though they were doing us a favor. The handyperson informed us that the pipes had never been replaced even though it was an older home. She told me to move everything out of the closet and to take our time with the rest. I had a bed and some bigger items in the bed room but she did not say these needed to be moved at this moment. This was Sunday. Monday the property manager Sandra began harassing us and said everything needed to be moved immediately atleast out of the bed room eventhough I had been told otherwise. This was halloween week and I told her I would be focusing on my living arrangements and my daughter for the week but would be able to completely move out by Friday. Come Wednesday Sandra with peak housing threatened that we would need to pay for all of the flooring in the bed room if i did not go move everyrhing out of the bed room that night. I called her in tears as I was unable to do this while still making sure my child was taken care of. I was already in the process of obtaining movers and trying to move out by Friday as i had already told her. In the end we now have all of our home in a storage unit and are in the process of finding a new normal. The company was not liable or responsible for anything and cared very little what they had done.

THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT IT'S CLIENTS. They only care for the money. Our neighbors at the unit we were in had a similar story as well. This company TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE LOWER CLASS and those who are unable to fight back due to a lack of options in the rental market.

Do yourself a favor and do not work with this company. They do not have your best interest in mind.

Peak housing might be a good rent to own company. But do not just rent from them they are liars. We lived in a rental for 4 years we showed them our windows were frosting and got told it was normal. We'll come our 4th year inspection there is mold on the windows I told them about a leak my kitchen sink had to of them were there and wrote it in the portal said someone would be coming to fix it and no one came for 45 days now they are trying to say I didn't tell them there was a leak and I am responsible for the mold repair. Honestly thought they were great but let's face it I was paying way under the rental price for these days and they wanted to renovate and probably up the rent and now they are trying to get me to pay for their renovations. Be very careful with this company

Peak Housing Solutions made selling my house the easiest thing in the world. Neill is both kind and understanding no matter what your situation may be. He worked very diligently and made sure I understood everything right up to signing the papers. I would certainly do business with them in the future.

I was skeptical about the whole "rent to own" concept until I dealt with Peak. The initial paperwork is a little intimidating, but the process went ahead very smoothly. I now own my home and finally had the pleasure of meeting Neil and Lynda. Truly 2 very genuine and caring people who's sole purpose is getting people into a home that they may not have been able to by more conventional means. It's been a pleasure dealing with Peak, and an honor meeting the spark behind it all. 2 thumbs way, way up!!

They have provided a great service to us while renting. They are prompt on any repair requirements and assist in every way possible to make daily living very comfortable.

First of all we have been renting from Peakhousing for 5 years and have never had a problem. This Michelle Henshaw I had the displeasure of living beside and above. She was a discusting pig. Her kids did more damage to that unit that she is not telling everyone about. When she movedp out i saw the damage and the srate she left it in. Please anyone reading this skip her revie

They do what they need to do as property owners. Bare minimum. It took 6 months to fix a broken window, and longer to fix the structural issues that caused it. Next door neighbour had similar issues. Lipstick on a pig, and you lose your DD in the end. Good as short term renting, but would question properties they list as "Rent to own"
