Sewage Backup. Did a great job,but did not, as they said they would, call me on finishing to tell me what to do. They left windows wide open( a definite no no) and blamed me for not closing them. Of course if they had called me down, as they said they would, windows would be closed. Duh---
So 3 days with dehumidifier on, wasting electricity. They through away new shop vac in a box. Kristen said moter was wet A shop Vac upright in a box, in a quarter inch of water got moter wet. Why not be honest and say "our mistake". Noproblem
So 2 lies, NO RESPECT for 2 retired folks just trying to get it right.
ADVICE- WATCH OUT FOR KRISTEN.

I had sewer back up twice. This company did all the clean up. They were very professional. They explained everything before they did the work. I am very grateful we have a company like this I will refer them and will have them back if this ever happens again. Thank you !!!

Rick and his team are absolutely wonderful! I’d highly recommend them for any clean up post sewer back up into your home!

We had an unexpected back up of our sewer into our basement and I called, Rick came for a quote and explained their process & made us feel very at ease with what was going to happen.
When his team arrived they were very professional and they dove in tackled the job so fast and efficiently!
Being super pregnant and due in a week and a half I was so nervous and stressed with this unexpected flooding/ back up and we were so lost what we could possibly do to deal with the situation, we have a 1946 home with 3/4 of our basement being cement and the rest being a mix of strange packed dirt and old patchy concrete (and of course, that’s where the majority of the back up ended up!) so we couldn’t even begin to figure out how on earth we’d clean it out of the dirt!
They came in, cleaned up, removed everything effected by the water/ waste and used their safe solution to treat the area and also sprayed where the plumber had walked through our home to come and go with his things which we were incredibly appreciative of this extra step.
We also have pets and it’s incredibly comforting to know the solution is super safe (so safe you could even drink it apparently haha ? I wasn’t going to make them prove that!!).

I can’t say enough how thankful we are for Rick and the team, they’ve made what started as a very stressful experience immediately better.

I have the privilege to tell about my experience with Restorex Regina and Melville. With the rain storm we had in Regina on the 16th July, my fully develloped basement was destroyed by sewer back flow.

I went to Restorex in Regina to find out when it would be possible for them to assist. I was met by the most friendly young lady ever. I also met a guy by the name of Craig. He was kind, understood the problem and had compassion. He promised me attention that same day. Bobs your uncle, that same evening he ppitched up at my house with the insurance adjuster. An hour later they were done and i was promised service for the 18th.

Today, the 18th, a team from Restorex Melville came to my house and performed a miracle. The team members were as quick as lightning, and perfect in what they did. What i believed to be a three day job, was done in one day and some overtime.

I want to mention the names of the Melville members as i believe credit is due. Kristin that did all the cataloging and sorting of a mountain of items and communicated with me and her office, Larry, Keion and Zack that did all the tearing apart and toting. You guys are just amazing at what you do. I cannot compliment you all enough. Professional, friendly and aproachable.

The pressure wash, vacuum and drying guys are in here doing what they need to do to keep their client happy. I will come back and report on their service as well.

Restorex is at the top of my recommendation list.

I called them shortly after a recent ice storm we had to check home for storm damage .After about week they had not showed up.I called again I was told they were busy and would eventually get to my home to assess the damage. After 3 weeks of the initial call I have had no follow-up from from them. I think they have forgotten about my issue....Melville Sask.Restorex
