Female staffer was friendly and gave good advice two well dressed male Indo’s came in talked to her after which she became insulting the cat they have is cool. Heard staff in their work yard loudly gossiping and telling lies about ppl they don’t know. A car no license plates no wiper blades worn seating drab looking old American sedan has been parked out front for days as of Oct. 6 2024.

This place is a fraction of what the old Rona was. They don't carry all the good little tidbits that you now have to go to Chilliwack for, I'm not sure why Deanna didn't come to the new store but I know I'm not the only one that misses her. This store in my opinion has too much froo froo stuff and not enough fix it stuff.. it's fine if you are trying to connect new to new... but that is not the case for most... the old Rona had all the odd ball stuff you now have to search high and low for cause no one now even knows what you're talking about. Hope and the area surrounding still has lots and lots of old homes, mobiles, assorted water supplies, old additions, fixtures, fittings etc.. for example..they don't even carry the 1.5inch flexible drain hose.. that has a multitude of uses.. head office, I'm told..is responsible for this. Well... this store has been disappointing since it's been moved over there. I had hoped that time and demand or complaints would have brought some of what they used to carry back.. but it has not. What I'm also very sad to report is.. there's only one lady in there that actually seems to care or know her products and isn't a negative Nelly... she works in the paint department and I unfortunately can't think of her name right now.. but she's been there awhile and she definitely brings the place up. It feels like most of the employees have given up kinda.. gotten used to the negative remarks on the stock they don't have or whatever..if a person drives from Boston bar or lytton.. they don't want to go to Chilliwack for a simple thing.. but that's how it is. It shouldn't be.. the fancy stuff that didn't use to be in the old store... doesn't need to be in the new store.. that should be the online ordering stuff..in my humble opinion. I'm grateful for the store being there.. even though it's no longer 100 percent canadian...Rona.. yes I know..f.v.b.s....I know.. different and independent.. but a true hardware store is what it should be.. not a frilly store. Thanks for reading and I'm not trying to insult..constructive criticism only

This location is probably the worst Rona I’ve ever been to. If you can even find one on the floor, the employees are more often than not the human versions of potted plants - little to no personality and very lacking in product knowledge or any useful advice. I had to bring my one year old with me one time and quickly discovered their shopping carts don’t have a child seat built in so I had to carry my baby while pushing a wonky, undersized cart. Not once was I offered a hand or even greeted coming in, checking out, or leaving the store. I tried to find someone to help but finally gave up. Their prices are not competitive, their selection is lacking or they won’t have what you need at all, and customer service is at a sub-basement level. If I could give a zero stars, I absolutely would. In this economy where everything is expensive and we’re all being stretched to our limits - we should all be expecting excellent service. Just go to Chilliwack and let places like this die off.

We having been shopping here almost 2 yrs now. Everytime we are there they have been so helpful and kind not to mention our pups love recieving the extra hellos too. Thanks for taking a bit of the stress out of building a home. We truly appreciate you.

Bought a granite/stone kitchen sink and when the plumber unwrapped it, it was cracked in several places. Called RONA and Luke and Toby went out of their way to try to help with a replacement. Unfortunately none were available that would fit but we did end up just replacing the faucet with a lovely new one. We very much appreciated their help and will continue to shop at RONA for the excellent service.

This is a small town location, so you cannot have big expectations with respect to stock availability. So assume that you possibly might not find what you need, or there might not be enough of what you need.

Most of the staff are outstanding. Helpful, courteous and polite. Good place to start for home projects if you live here.

Unfortunately you had none in stock but you suggested we try Lordco in town and we were very lucky to buy there last one. We appreciate your good service. We would have never thought to go there.

I found the staff to be very helpful and eager to assist. Carried heavy items to my vehicle with a smile and gave me a cheerful "have a great day" at the end of my transaction.
