I feel very safe living here. Our superintendents are quick to respond to any concern requiring follow up. It’s so nice to see the 2 units as a community. BBQs, music nights, theme parties, community needs support through food bank donations, etc…Our buildings are now over 10 years old. I find the apartments interiors are showing wear and tear. Air/heat units are cleaned annually, and are in need of sealing, along with windows. The floor around the main window and balcony door are very cold. Cold drafts and outdoor noise is common to feel and hear. The outdoor upgrades and maintenance are immaculate and homey. Perhaps a scheduled preventative maintenance check with the tenant, will identify common issues to upgrade. As Skyline has a majority of seniors, as tenants, would Skyline consider a contract agreement, for a painter, to paint our apartments. I understand the cost is incurred by the tenant, but a fair contractor price would help avoid ant scammers, or unqualified painters, and be done in a timely manner. A bit of fresh paint would definitely modernize the apartments the apartments. For future reference, rollout kitchen cabinets would make them more accessible to use, and to clean. Modification for seniors use, doesn’t have to be cost heavy. In closing, thank you for all you do and provide, and keeping with your mission, vision, values.
